Sage Leaves Rubbed (Albania) – Our Garden sage is a fluffy mix of fragrant leaves that have been screen-rubbed by hand. Sage is native to the Mediterranean. It’s used in Italian, Middle Eastern, and English kitchens. I find it an absolute must in bread stuffings. Thanksgiving isn’t Thanksgiving without it. It’s especially tasty with chicken, or pork, meatloaf, and in many soups. In vegetarian dishes, it gives a meaty edge when married with mushrooms and/or eggplant.
