A sinfully delicious treat called a chocolate brandy bean, inspired this recipe. The first one, I ate was in a deli in the town of Kimberley British Columbia. It was a day to remember. This hot chocolate drink is naughty and nice, and sometimes enjoyed best…alone!
3 Heaping Tbsps. Dark Chocolate Chips
1 cup Milk
2 Tbsps. Brandy
1 dollop of Whipped Cream
Cinnamon for sprinkling
Melt chocolate chips in a small pot over low heat. Add milk slowly stirring to combine. Turn up heat to medium until the milky chocolate drink reaches the right temp. for you. Pour into your favorite mug. Add 2 Tbsps. Brandy. Top with one generous dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Serves 1 most extravagantly!
